My name is Logan Aguilar and I am an award winning tattoo artist currently working in New York City.
I specialize in photo-realism and portrait work but am not limited to these genres. I can bring any tattoo idea or style to life. I do custom tattoos, which means I am able to take your concepts and ideas and turn them into a beautiful piece of art. I pay special attention to muscle structure and body composition to guarantee that the artwork not only looks great, but flows with the natural contours of your body.
I became involved in the tattoo industry at the age of fourteen, when I met a tattoo artist aptly named Crazy Tony. We became friends and he began teaching me the tattooing fundamentals that continue to impact my art style. As I grew older I became more involved in the tattoo scene and worked at a number of different studios in New York City. During this time I became known for my Japanese traditional style of tattooing.
After mastering the technical aspects involved in tattooing, I moved to Kissimmee, Florida, to expand my skills as an artist. It was Florida where I mastered black and grey portraits and color realism. Many of these pieces have won awards and numerous different tattoo conventions.
I moved back to New York City in 2009 to work at the world famous Venus Modern Body Art studio in the East Village. I work every day to bring my passion for beautiful custom tattoo work to every single person who sits in my chair.
I currently tattoo by appointment only. All appointments require a deposit. I accept deposits through Paypal or in person. Tattoo deposit amounts will vary based on the details of the tattoo and will be applied towards the total balance of the tattoo. These deposits are nonrefundable.
